The head of the research school is appointed by the vice-dean at Faculty of Life Sciences and the vice-chancellor DTU and refers to the them and the director of LMC. Head of the research school is chairman of the management group which consists of a representative from each of the four universities covered by FOOD, a representative from the private food sector, a representative from LMC and PhD students. The organization of FOOD is currently under revision due to structural changes in the Danish university landscape. Please note that the correct terminology of FOOD is research school - not graduate school as mentioned in the bylaws etc, which uses the old terminology.
