The students in FOOD will usually be working with food science, - technology and nutrition.

 

All PhD students who have started projects within the food science field after December 31, 2002 at DTU and Faculty of Life Sciences are members of the FOOD. However, there might be PhD projects in this group which belong to other graduate schools.

 

Food wishes to develop the professional as well as the personal skills of the students. Within the course activities the students have to over the 3 year period:

• Participate in one FOOD summer school
• Participate in at least one workshop arranged by FOOD.
• Participate in at least one LMC congres.
• Present their work in at least one workshop and one international congress.

Please note that these requirements are currently under revision due to changes of the FOOD bylaws. New set of requirements is due summer 2008.
