All PhD students working within food science, technology and human nutrition at Faculty of Life Sciences (university of Copenhagen), Universtity of Aarhus and DTU should be a member of FOOD.

FOOD takes a fee of DKK 5.000 a year for membership.

FOOD offers attractive workshops, seminars, intensive and long PhD courses, seminars and summer school. This gives a unique possibility for networking.

One of FOOD's objectives is to give the PhD students a research education of high international standard with focus on the quality of the PhD study, on the PhD students' personal and professional development by way of international guest teachers, on the correlation between the public and industrial research environments.
